About us
Hello and welcome to Mary's Pooch Paradise. I have been taking care of pets for over 30 years. Having recently retired from high technology, it was a natural transition to open my home to pet clients. I love to watch how animals interact and socialize with one another. My pets are part of the family, we play together, relax on the sofa or enjoy long walks in the redwoods, on the beach or in the park.
My pet clients are treated as members of the family with indoor/outdoor play time, daily walks to the park, lots of socializing and afternoon naps on the sofa. Weather permitting there are trips to the redwoods or to the beach. There are no kennels or cages here, pets can roam freely around the fenced property and sleep in the house.
My service is personalized for each pet client. I take the time to get to know your pet, their likes and dislikes. Some pet clients are a little shy at first with the unfamiliar smells and environment, and need to be slowly introduced to the other clients, residents pets and the new surroundings. Some clients prefer to stay inside and relax on the sofa while others love sunning on the hill.
In order to provide lots of one on one time for your pet, I only take a few pets at a time.

While I was away Mary kept me up to date as to how well Jo was eating ,socializing, and gett'in along with her pet crew. She actually fed him by hand and they became fast friends. I love how Mary shares every concern and makes accommodation based on the pet's comfort level and the owner's as well. She is the epitome of a loving pet care giver.
